1. Login to your Casting Networks profile.

2. Click the Direct Cast™ tab.

Be sure you are looking in the category you want. You can choose either Direct Cast™ Principals or Extras.

3. Scroll down the page to view all available projects organized by role.

You can sort by clicking a column header like Role or Project Name.

You can also search by typing a keyword or phrase into the search field.

Select a project by clicking the Role name, Project Name, or any text in the same project’s row.

A pop-up window will display the project details and roles.

The role you clicked will be listed first, under a Blue Bar.

Other roles that fit your profile will be under the next heading.

Finally, all the other roles in the same project will be listed last.

You may need to scroll down to see all available roles.

4. Click submit next to each role you would like to submit yourself for.

A new window will open displaying the selected role, your contact information and your photos.

5. Confirm your contact information is correct.

Click the checkbox next to any photos you would like to hide.

Note: Digital photos will not be shown here but are submitted.

You may need to enter your credit card info if you are not signed up for the Direct Cast Premium Service and choose the $0.99 single submission fee. You can also sign up for unlimited submissions for $5 monthly fee by upgrading your Account options.

Then you can click submit located at the bottom of the page.

You’ll get a success confirmation page if the submission went through.

A green star will then appear next to the role on your Direct Cast™ page.

Important - Please submit only on projects that you are appropriate for!

When you are logged in and attempting to submit to an audition, do you see the following?

1. Old photos (or a mix of old and new) in the submission field.  
2. Duplicate photos in the submission field.  
3. Blank gray space in the submission field.

You may need to clear your cache! This updates your temporary internet files and helps save memory.

The two drop down select menus at the top of the screen allow you to filter the audition notices list.

• The drop down select menu on the left filters the list by displaying:
  • All Projects - lists all available projects.
     
  • Viewed Projects - lists only projects you have already viewed.
     
  • Unviewed Projects - lists only projects you have NOT yet viewed.
    
     
• The drop down select menu on the right filters the list by displaying:
  • Non-Union Projects - lists only non-union projects
     
  • Non-Union Projects Fit For Me - lists only non-union projects which, based on your profile, fit your desciption.
     
  • All Projects Fit For Me - lists all projects which, based on your profile, fit your description.
     
  • Union Projects - lists only union projects.
     
  • Union Projects Fit For Me - lists only union projects which, based on your profile, fit your description.
    

Electronically submitting yourself using Casting Networks is not in any way the promise of a job or employment.

1. Make sure you update all of your contact information so that you can be reached at a moment's notice. Especially your text message info!
    
2. Click on Audition/Extra Prefs. on the left hand side of the screen. Update your preferences so CDs know what type of work you are interested in.
    
3. Fill out as much information as possible so that CDs and agents know all of your talents!
